Q-tip Painted Trees

We’re getting ready for holiday gift giving by crafting some handmade cards! To make things a little more fun, try using Q-tips as a paint brush, giving your trees a different and exciting new look!

Tutorial Below:

Let the paint dry overnight.

        • Q-tips

        • Acrylic paint in all colors

        • White card stock paper

        • Paper plate and paper towels

        • Fold your card stock paper in half to create a card. These cards can be any size you’d like. Feel free to cut the paper down to size before folding.

        • With a paper towel underneath to help with any splatter, pour a little bit of each paint color onto the plate.

        • Dip your Q-tip into the paint color and make "dots" into a tree shape. You can make these winter trees or Christmas trees.

        • Add color to the tree to represent snow or ornaments to make them really pop!

        • You can get really creative with your holiday cards, making all sorts of different trees and Christmas scenes.

Let the paint dry overnight.

Now these are ready to write a fun message on the front or inside and deliver to family and friends for the holidays!
